MI Hunters To Help The Poor This Fall

Some deer hunters in Michigan are helping the poor this fall. A group called Michigan Sportsman Against Hunger each year collects about 30 thousand pounds of venison and donates it to charities that feed those in need.President Dean Hall says most food banks and pantries receive mostly nonperishable donations, and that’s why venison is an especially appreciated donation.
