Six people were taken to the hospital following a three vehicle crash in Niles Township Tuesday evening. The Berrien County Sheriffs Department says that it happened around 5:30 pm on Old US 31 at Walton Road. A vehicle driven by 57 year old Patricia Starr, of Buchanan, was stopped at Old US 31 waiting to turn on to Walton when a vehicle driven by 28 year old Lindsay Johnson, of Berrien Springs, crashed into her. Then, another vehicle driven by 64 year old Shelia True, of Niles, headed in the opposite direction, crashed into the side of Starr’s car. Traffic had to be rerouted Wednesday evening as police cleared the scene.
