Two Weekend Memorials For Pergerson

A pair of memorials are scheduled for this weekend for 48-year-old Pastor William Pergerson the Second of Berrien Springs. You’ll remember he was the Seventh Day Adventist pastor killed trying to take off from the W.K. Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek on August 27 when his plane crashed nose-first just off of a runway. Pergerson was trying to fly home at the time. The first service will be at the Battle Creek Tabernacle on Saturday, after which he will be buried. A second memorial is planned on the Andrews University campus in Berrien Springs at Pioneer Memorial Church on Sunday. Pergerson is survived by his wife, Sharon, 16-year-old William III, and 13-year-old Jaissa.
