Students return to school next Tuesday around Michigan, and those who go to Lakeshore Middle or High School will find renovations recently undertaken to be mostly finished. Superintendent Phillip Freeman says that there is a bit of work that will need to be wrapped up this fall, but they’re making sure students aren’t disturbed.

At the middle school, they still have work to do at the cafeteria, locker rooms, and a shop area. At the high school, they need to finish some locker rooms and the media center, but will in September or October. Freeman says, after that, they’ll see if there’s any money left in the budget for additional, minor improvements.
