A 37-year-old Hartford woman is jailed and awaiting charges for allegedly stealing a car in the Kalamazoo area. She was arrested Saturday after a police chase in Keeler Township. The woman is facing charges of fleeing and eluding, possession of a stolen vehicle and obstructing police. The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department says the woman led deputies on a chase for several miles when officers tried to pull her over on County Road 681. The suspect’s name is being withheld until she’s arraigned.
