A mixup at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo late Wednesday afternoon has an armed robbery suspect on the loose, and police think he might be in South Haven or Hartford. Kevin Ware was ejected from his car as he tried to get away from Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies early Wednesday morning in Hartford when he and Kristopher Jackson were pulled over. Ware was airlifted to Bronson in critical condition before dawn two days ago, but somehow managed to be discharged without police being notified by the hospital. He and Jackson are accused of holding up TJ’s Liquor Store on KL Avenue in Kalamazoo just after midnight on Wednesday. The men are facing charges in both Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties. Jackson was taken into custody early Wednesday by Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies.
