Eight graduates of Niles High School and Brandywine High School are receiving scholarships from the Niles Scream Park. Officials at the southern Berrien County Halloween attraction say the recipients stood out based on academic success, involvement in the community, and their future aspirations to become leaders. The park has awarded nearly $46,000 in scholarships to 119 local students since 1992. Mollie Eichenberg and Jamie Gaither of Niles High School and Aeirona Needham and Brooke Smith of Brandywine have been awarded the “Niles Haunted House Scholarship.” Memorial scholarships have been awarded to Krystal Bunch and Rachelle Dodge of Brandywine along with Alyssa Jones and Kylee Myer of Niles.
