The Allegan County Sheriffs Department says that an 18 year old Fennville man was killed on Thursday morning when his Jeep crashed into a tree. It happened shortly before one AM on 116th Avenue, west of 48th Street, in Clyde Township when the teen lost control of the vehicle on a curve. A 16 year old passenger managed to free herself and get to a nearby home to call for help. Police arrived at the scene and declared Cody Lee Valentine dead. The passenger was taken to a hospital in Holland, where she was treated and released.
