Benton Harbor Schools Secure $1.4M Loan From State

Benton Harbor Area Schools will get a financial shot in the arm from the state. The Treasury Department’s Emergency Loan Board this morning approved a $1.4 million loan for the district. Acting Superintendent Gregory Weatherspoon tells the ELB that improvements are being made and the loan is helping take care of the financial side for the district.
