A former teacher and soccer coach for Saint Joseph High School has been sentenced to four to 15 years in prison for having a sexual relationship with a student. 26 year old Lauren Hill pleaded guilty in May to two counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct for the relationship that was reported to authorities in April. On Friday, she received her sentence in the courtroom of Berrien County Judge Gary Bruce. Hill resigned from her position with Saint Joseph Schools shortly after being charged. She taught English and was also the coach of the girls soccer team. 15 years was the maximum sentence that she could have received.
