A 91 year old woman who went missing in Berrien Springs on Tuesday was found safe. The Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department says that the woman, who suffers from dementia, wandered away from an adult care facility on Erlwood Drive sometime between four AM and six AM. Police officers, K9s, and firefighters searched the area for several hours, and shortly before eleven AM, they found her at Main Street Apartments in Berrien Springs. A family who lives there took the woman in, and offered her food and a shower. Police say she was uninjured, and not in need of medical attention, and then brought back home.
