Poll Of Key Lansing Players Names Pscholka Most Effective State Rep

A new poll by EPIC-MRA of Lansing insiders finds state Representative Al Pscholka of Stevensville is viewed as the most effective lawmaker in the House. The survey was ordered by MIRSNews, with editor Kyle Melinn noting the southwest Michigan Republican has been among the leaders in the House ever since he sponsored the now-repealed and replaced Public Act 4 emergency manager law. In a statement, Pscholka says he’s honored by the distinction of being the most effective member in the chamber, adding it’s a confirmation that he’s doing his job right to represent tens of thousands of people in Berrien County. His chief of staff and state budget advisor, Adam Carlson of Dowagiac, was ranked in the top five most effective staff members in the same poll of 352 people in Lansing.
