Michigan's Average Gas Price Up 10 Cents A Gallon

Michigan’s average gas price is up another ten-cents a gallon. Triple-A Michigan’s Susan Hiltz says production problems at an ExxonMobil refinery in Illinois are to blame for the increases.

The cheapest gas is in the Grand Rapids/Muskegon/Holland area at $2.68, while drivers in Traverse City have the most expensive gasoline at $2.76. Triple-A puts the average in the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph area at $2.71. According to GasBuddy, the average in South Haven is sharply lower at $2.55, with a low of $2.50 a gallon.
