Harloff Manufacturing Company in Paw Paw is expanding. The company is relocating the operations of Trine Corporation in the Bronx, New York to Van Buren County as part of a $1 million expansion. Harloff makes grease filters and metal roll form products and recently purchased Trine. According to the “Grand Rapids Business Journal,” the company considered keeping those operations in New York and also looked at relocating the work to Fort Wayne, Indiana and Charlotte, North Carolina. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is helping with the expansion with a $158,000 performance-based grant. The expansion is expected to create 38 new jobs.
