Lake Michigan College is celebrating a national honor for its top technology leader.
Dr. Scott Pratt, the college’s chief information officer, has been named one of the Top 100 Technology Professionals by the OnCon Icon Awards, which recognize outstanding technology executives from around the world.
LMC says the award is determined entirely through peer voting, with recipients selected for their leadership, innovation, and industry impact.
At Lake Michigan College, Pratt has led efforts to modernize technology infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity, expand data analytics, and improve systems that support student success. The college says his work has helped align technology with the institution’s mission and goals.
LMC Chief Financial Officer Karla Pankratz praised Pratt’s leadership, saying the recognition reflects the important work he and his team do to support students, faculty, and the community.
