A new poll of Michigan voters shows they blame higher prices on the policies of President Donald Trump.

In a poll of 600 voters, 64% blame President Trump’s tariff policies for higher prices, while 29% think prices are the same. Epic MRA President Bernie Porn told us what voters think about the economy in general.

Voters think that it has gotten worse by 51%,” Porn said. “24% said that it has improved. 24% said it’s remained about the same. And only 1% are undecided about it. They are decided that the economy is getting worse.”

Porn says that doesn’t bode well for Republicans in next year’s midterms.

As for the governor’s race in Michigan, right now Republican John James leads with 34%, Democrat Jocelyn Benson is second with 33%, and Independent Mike Duggan has 20%. Porn says Duggan is pulling more votes from Democrats after switching to be an independent.
