Chasin Cedric Swarn, 54, of Covert MI passed away unexpectedly Saturday June 14th at his home. He was born in Chicago IL on February 4th, 1971, to Ada Swarn and Lonnie White. Chasin graduated in Chicago from Breman High School. He married Selena Jackson on August 27th, 2005 at their home. He was a supportive, protective, compassionate husband and they were the best of friends and did everything together.

In his young adult years, he worked as a certified nurse aide, and a cook at Clementines. Later he started a trucking business “Swarn to haul”. He was very big on family; he loved all his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, adopted grandchildren, and godchildren.

He was their superhero. If you knew him, you knew he was a beast on the grill. He was a born city boy, so he recently learned to fish and enjoyed it. He was the shoulder everyone leaned on. He had the words of wisdom for every situation. He was loved and respected by many and will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by maternal-grandparents: James & Rozener Swarn, paternal grandparents: Lonnie & Mildred White Sr., favorite little cousin: Eugene Aldridge & his Stepfather.

He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife Selena Jackson, parents Lonnie White & Ada Johnson Swarn, children; Mashyia Foster, Audrelia Swarn, Chasin Rashaun Swarn, Dominique Chasin Swarn, Chasiney G. Swarn, Alec Edward McLaughlin, Chasin Lorenz Swarn, Kaheem Yancy and Keaunte Swarn, Siblings: Tammy Swarn, Lorraine Swarn, Richard Swarn, Jimmy Johnson, Matthew Johnson, DeVell White, Shalona Williams, Sam Williams, Lamont Williams, Ronaldo Ford and Donny Williams. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren along with his mother-in-law Celestine Jeffries and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
