Harland Raas, 93, of Stevensville, MI passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 27, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Harland was born December 24, 1929 to Walter & Evelyn (Felgner) Raas. He graduated from Baroda High School. Harland proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956. After being honorably discharged, Harland was the owner of Raas Farms where he has farmed for many years. Harland enjoyed the outdoors and being with his dog Rudy.
Harland is survived by his sisters Patsy (Herman) Black and Maxine (Richard) Anstey; and nieces and nephews, Craig (Pam) Black, Sheryl (Bruce) Meiser and Scott (Melissa) Anstey.
Harland was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles “Charlie” Raas.
