A new certificate will soon be available at Lake Michigan College following action this week by the board of trustees. The board approved the creation of the Digital Marketing Certificate of Achievement, which LMC President Trevor Kubatzke tells us will help prepare students for modern market demands.
“Digital marketing is really where all the marketing is,” Kubatzke said. “Radio is doing digital marketing, papers are doing digital marketing. Every company is now hiring people to do their digital marketing, so we see this as a great growth industry.”
Kubatzke says the college is always adding new classes to meet current demands. The Digital Marketing Certificate of Achievement will be a one semester program that he says would be ideal as a supplement for business students.
