Astros Throw Combined No-Hitter To Win Game 4
The Astros are making some history at the World Series. Houston’s pitching staff combined to no-hit the Phillies en route to a 5-0 win in Game Four in Philadelphia. Cristian Javier threw six scoreless frames and struck out nine, before Bryan Abreu, Rafael Montero and Ryan Pressly finished off the first ever combined no-hitter in World Series history. The Astros combined to score all their runs in the fifth inning as they evened the series at two-games apiece. Aaron Nola suffered the loss for Philadelphia, which managed just three walks in the loss. The series stays in Philly for Game Five on Thursday night. Justin Verlander draws the start for Houston, while Noah Syndergaard toes the rubber for the Phillies.

Pistons Blown Out By Bucks
The Pistons were no match for the Bucks this time around as they were blasted 116-91 in Milwaukee. Saddiq Bey netted 22 points to lead Detroit, which slipped to 2-and-7 after its second straight loss to the Bucks. The Pistons return home to host Cleveland tomorrow.

Bulls Rout Hornets
The Bulls had six players score in the double-digits in a 106-88 win over the Charlotte Hornets in Chicago. The Bulls led by as many as 20 points in the win. Javonte Green led the way with 17 points off the bench, while Patrick Williams and Goran Dragic each scored 16. Chicago improved to 5-and-4 with the victory. Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 24 points to lead Charlotte, which slipped to 3-and-5.

Texans Host Undefeated Eagles On Thursday Night Football
The Eagles are placing their undefeated record on the line as they meet the Texans in primetime. Philadelphia visits Houston for a Thursday night clash at NRG Stadium. The Eagles improved to 7-0 after beating the Steelers 35-13 last weekend. Jalen Hurts continues to impress with his arm and legs as he’s totaled 10 passing touchdowns and six rushing scores. The Texans are still in search of their first win at home after losing to the Titans 17-10 in Week Eight. The loss dropped Houston to 1-5-and-1 on the year. The Texans opted to keep wide receiver Brandin Cooks at the NFL trade deadline as he leads the team with 354 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Bowling Green holds off Western Michigan despite 3 turnovers
Harold Fannin Jr. had a rushing touchdown, Mason Lawler made two field goals and Bowling Green held off Western Michigan 13-9 despite turning it over three times. Ta’ron Keith returned the second-half kickoff 83 yards and Fannin scored three plays later from 8 for a 13-0 lead. The Broncos pulled within four points on a field goal with 5:28 remaining in the fourth quarter and forced a three-and-out to get it back with four minutes left. Western Michigan used eight plays to get to the Bowling Green 19 but lost three yards on fourth down. Matt McDonald was 23-of-31 passing for 161 yards for Bowling Green.

CMU Beats NIU
Starter Daniel Richardson threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns, backup Jase Bauer rushed for 109 yards and two scores and Central Michigan beat Northern Illinois 35-22. Richardson’s 15-yard touchdown pass to Tyson Davis gave Central Michigan a 21-0 lead and Bauer’s 7-yard run made it 28-7 with 36 seconds left in the third quarter. Bauer’s TD capped a 75-yard drive that was aided by holder Luke Elzinga’s 20-yard completion on a fake field goal. Northern Illinois scored 15 points in four minutes, highlighted by a 57-yard scoop and score by Lew Nichols III to make it 28-22. But Central Michigan’s defensive capped the scoring with 7:17 left when Kyle Moretti recovered a fumble in the end zone.
