Sonny James Fannon, 53, of Benton Harbor, passed away, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at his home after a long illness.

Sonny was born December 26, 1968 in Wallingford, Connecticut to Reva Tate. He graduated high school in Brevard, North Carolina, and for the last twenty years lived in Benton Harbor, most recently working as a maintenance supervisor for an apartment management company before his health forced his retirement.
Sonny is survived by his daughter Miah Fannon of St. Joseph; his mother Reva Tate Fuente of Central, SC; his siblings-Cindy Fannon of Spartanburg, SC, Morgie Tate of Greenville, SC, Junior Fannon of Wellford, SC, Kimberly Fannon of Charlotte, NC; and niece Briana Abernathy & nephew Johnothan Holmstead. He was preceded in death by his father.
