Janet Beth Davis 82 of Berrien Center, Michigan peacefully passed away at West Woods of Bridgman with her daughter and granddaughter by her side Saturday, September 10, 2022.
She was Born June 11, 1940 the daughter of Vernon and Marian Rodell.
After graduating high school Janet then attended the National Beauty College of Benton Harbor where she received her license in cosmetology and then worked as a beautician at Flo’s beauty salon in Berrien Springs.
Then on April 4, 1964 Janet married Carl J Davis and together they had two children, that was when Janet then became a homemaker. Then as her kids became older Janet began babysitting for multiple children over the years where she adopted the name of Aunt Jan.
Janet was indeed a big animal lover, she always referred to all animals as precious fur babies. She also enjoyed spending time outside doing yard work, doing her word find puzzle books and most of all her enjoyment was going to BINGO, and playing slots at the casinos. But what she treasured most in life was her family and all of her grandbabies meant the world to her.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Carl J Davis in 2010.
Janet is survived by her children son Gregory (Leslie) Davis of Bridgman, daughter Kimberly (David) Armstrong of Berrien Center, eight grand children, seven great grandchildren, sister Shirley Garlick of Portage Michigan, brother Wayne Rodell of Scottville Michigan, as well as many other extended family members.
In keeping mom‘s wishes she has been cremated, she did not want a funeral or a memorial service so at a later date the family will be having a private burial where her ashes will be buried with dad.
