James E. “Animal” Foster, 68 of Eau Claire, MI passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Dank, 2651 Pipestone Rd, Sodus, MI, 269-926-6652, on September 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM for family and friends.
Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends and going up north to his house in Iron River to hunt and fish or just spending time with his family and friends. He was drummer for many years playing music with many local bands acquiring the nickname “Animal”. He retired in 2011 from Bendix after working there for 27 ½ years.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Kathy, his children Jeffery (Toby) Foster of North Carolina, David Foster of Niles, Derrick (Tasha) Copeland of Baldwin, MI. step children, William (Alesia) Prince of South Haven, MI, Regina (Jeremy) Gitchell of Eau Claire, MI. He has eleven grandchildren and two great grandsons and one on the way.
