Police are investigating as several dogs and horses have been shot in recent weeks in Cass County. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says the shootings were reported in the 66,000 block of Kessington Road in Calvin Township over the past five to six weeks. The department hasn’t released more specifics on the animal shootings. It says there could be one or multiple suspects. The sheriff’s department is investigating the case with the help of Cass County Animal Control. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
