Glenda Van Orman, 78, of Benton Township died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at her home.
Services celebrating her life will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, Sept. 19, at the Benton Heights Church of God on Euclid Ave. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Cremation has taken place. Please share messages or memories at www.florin.net.
Glenda was born on Sept 15, 1943 in Hornerville, MO to Wesley and Mildred Campbell. She married her husband, Gary Van Orman, in 1990. Together they have celebrated 31 years of marriage. Glenda was the Front Desk Manager at the Ramada Inn for over 20 years. She enjoyed Bingo and going to the casinos. Glenda also enjoyed crocheting many different items. She also liked to travel with her husband in his semi-truck. Glenda was a spiritual and determined individual who loved her whole family.
Her family includes her husband, Gary; her children, David A. Joiner of Benton Harbor, Terrie Meek of Benton Harbor, Tina (Terry) Green of Galien, Michael (Tina) Van Orman of Otsego, MI, Tammy (Mike) Barber of Stevensville, and Beth (Kenny) Mead, of Martin, MI; her brothers, Jerry Campbell of Benton Harbor, Jimmy (Tine) Campbell of Whitehall and Dennis (Carol) Campbell of Nokesville, VA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins, and her special friends, the Miguel Fortuna, Sr. family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Terry Joiner and a grandson, Kenneth Meek, Jr.
