Michigan is becoming one of the best places in the country for micro breweries. On this National Beer Day, the MEDC’s Otie McKinley says there are over 350 breweries in the state and he thinks business will pick up with warmer weather.
“A lot of these breweries have outdoor beer gardens and so it’s a great place to be able to go and safely enjoy some of Michigan’s craft beers with friends or family and do so in a in a safe and responsible manner.”
McKinley says there are well known breweries like Bell’s in Kalamazoo and Short’s in Bellaire, but he says there are great breweries all over the state.
