A new city commissioner will be picked tonight during the St. Joseph City Commission meeting. The commission has interviewed five candidates for the office being vacated by Peggy Getty. Last Monday, they heard from Michele Binkley, Anthony Pastrick, Mike Sarola, Brook Thomas, and Jason Vetne on what they feel are the best ways forward for the city. Commissioners decided they needed more time to go through their notes, and said a decision would be made this evening.
