State Releases Saturday COVID Numbers

Michigan is reporting 635 additional cases of COVID-19 for Saturday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says that brings the state’s total to more than 579,000 since the pandemic started in March. There were 63 additional deaths to report for Saturday, including 57 deaths identified during a vital records review. The state has had a total of 15,359 COVID deaths. The state coronavirus website on Saturday showed Berrien County with only six more cases than on Friday, with a pandemic total of 10,509 and 217 deaths, an increase of one. Van Buren County was listed with a total of 4,663 cases, an increase of 17 over Friday, and 84 deaths.
