Patricia “Patsy” Kremers, 84, of Eau Claire, passed away Nov. 22, 2020 in her home with family by her side.

Patsy was the type of person that family and friends would all gather around. At the holiday parties she hosted, there was always something sweet to eat—from pumpkin pies with caramel sauce to the gooey apple pie slices that were delicious enough to be served at all of her children’s weddings. You never went hungry at Patsy’s house. And sitting around her dining room table, you’d find that her laughter could fill an entire home with joy.

Patsy graduated from nursing school in 1958 as a registered nurse, and enjoyed her career as a pediatric nurse for the next 30-plus years. She loved to travel, and her most memorable trips include visits to the Upper Peninsula, Colorado, California, Washington, Jamaica, and Hawaii. She dreamed of seeing the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore; and of traveling to Lithuania, the home of her ancestors.

She was a woman of great faith in God, and was dedicated to her family. She was a loving wife to husband Jerry for 61 years, a devoted mother to her five children, and a caring Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sign outside her home aptly states, “Grandchildren, prepare to be spoiled.” Patsy loved and was loved in spades by her many friends, as well, with whom she attended card parties, swimming group, and enjoyed dining with at local eateries.

Patsy is preceded in death by her children Michael and Carla; brother Art; grandchildren Joshua and Logan; and her parents, Stella and Frank.

She is survived by her husband Jerry; daughters Kathy (Jon) Wilcox, Cindy (Gary) Howey, and Karen (David) Cochran; her 11 grandchildren; eight beloved great-grandchildren; and many adoring extended family members.

Many thanks to Caring Circle of Lakeland for the deep kindness given to Patsy and her family. Memorial donations may be made to either Caring Circle of Lakeland or the Patricia Kremers Memorial Fund, in care of Jerry Kremers.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Ave., Benton Harbor. Friends may pay their respects 30 minutes prior. Please honor the family by following the COVID-19 guidelines for gathering, or choosing to attend the virtual ceremony, which can be viewed at https://m.youtube.com/user/SSJohnandBernard.
