More Than 7,000 Additional Cases Of COVID In Michigan For Tuesday

Michigan is reporting 7,458 new COVID-19 cases for Tuesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the state has had more than 272,000 cases of COVID since the pandemic started. The state reported 79 additional deaths for Tuesday, 24 of which were identified through a review of vital records around the state. That brings the death total in Michigan since March up to 8,128. For Tuesday, the Berrien County Health Department’s coronavirus dashboard shows Berrien County with 166 additional cases over Monday, now at a total of 4,561 since the pandemic started. The county has had 96 deaths, up one from Monday. On Tuesday, the county was at 53 non-ICU hospitalizations and four ICU hospitalizations.
