The Benton Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Family Farm and Home Store on Thursday. It says officers were called to the store on Cinema Way around 9:40 a.m. They were told a suspect had walked into the business, placed several clothing items into a shopping cart, and then walked toward the cash registers pushing the cart and pointing a gun at the clerk. He left in a silver or gray GMC full size SUV. Police have released surveillance photos. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Benton Township Police Department.
