More Than 2,000 Additional COVID Cases In Michigan On Friday, 67 New Cases In Berrien

Michigan is reporting 2,015 additional cases of COVID-19 around the state for Friday. That’s the second day in a row the state has reported more than 2,000 new cases. The state also reported 14 additional deaths from coronavirus for Friday. Since the start of the pandemic, Michigan has had a total of 143,106 cases of COVID-19 and 6,987 deaths. Berrien County reported 67 new cases of COVID for Friday for a total of 2,069 cases and 76 deaths. The Berrien County Health Department says the county is experiencing a “fairly sharp uptick in new cases per day.” Cass County was at 727 cases, an increase of 37, and 23 total deaths on Friday, while Van Buren County has had a total of 820 cases, an increase of 9, and 16 deaths.
