Hoyt Gerome Higgs, Jr., 53, of Grand Junction, passed away September 30, 2020 at his home. He was born December 27, 1966 to Hoyt and Blanche (Mason) Higgs Sr. in Holland, Michigan. Hoyt enjoyed spending time with his grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Hoyt is survived by his children – Joshua (Kara) Higgs of Zeeland, Michigan and Susan Higgs of Lake Wales, Florida; siblings – Cecil Higgs of Lawrence, Michigan, Bob Higgs of Grand Junction, Michigan, Shiron Fay Thompson of South Haven, Michigan and Janie (Victor) Rawson, Sr. of Pullman, Michigan; and grandson – Jerome Higgs.
A visitation will take place Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven, Michigan. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Hoyt will be laid to rest at Lee Township Cemetery in Lee Township, Michigan.
