Carrie was born on Jan 24, 1959 in Benton Harbor to Clarence and Barbara Ballard. She was a factory worker before she became ill 10 years ago.
Her family includes her mother, Barbara Ballard, of Bainbridge Township; her sister, Annette Ballard of Benton Harbor and a close friend, Walter Mitchell, of Benton Harbor. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Ballard, Jr.
