Grants totaling nearly $70,000 are being given by the Dollar General Foundation to schools around Michigan, and among the recipients is New Buffalo Area Schools. The Dollar General says with the grants announced this week, educators at 25 schools and literacy organizations across the Michigan will have extra help to support youth literacy programs. New Buffalo Area Schools is getting a $2,000 grant.
