Barbara Ann Rohr, 85, of Paw Paw, MI, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at her home in Paw Paw.
She was born May 16, 1935 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Gust and Theresa (Winsinski) Babin.
On September 6, 1952, in Paw Paw Michigan , she married Carl F. Rohr who she enjoyed 54 wonderful years with until his passing.
Barbara worked for Michigan Bell for many years before she realized her calling in life was nursing. She retired from Lakeview Community Hospital in Paw Paw. Barbara enjoyed shopping, traveling and taking care of animals. She especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds out of her front window.
She is survived by her two sons, Carl L. (Donne) Rohr, Linda Talley, Theresa (Michael) Lorenz, Christine Rohr, and Bryan (Jolene) Rohr along with six grandchildren, Anthony Rohr, Paul Rohr, Amy Rohr, Jessica Veldhouse, Henry Rohr and Benjamin Rohr, six great grandchildren, Mackenzie Rohr, Sydney Rohr, Audrey Rohr, Theodore Rohr, Lenox Veldhouse and Poppy Veldhouse. Barb was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard Babin and Richard Babin.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 5-7 pm at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 11:00 at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Paw Paw. Burial will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery.
