Michigan is reporting 734 additional cases of COVID-19 for Friday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the state has had 81,621 cases of the illness since the start of the pandemic. It reported eight additional deaths for Friday, making that total 6,199. Berrien County reported five additional cases of the illness for Friday, now at a total of 1,092 cases with 64 deaths since the start of the pandemic. Cass County had twelve new cases for the day, now with a total of 266 cases and nine deaths. Van Buren County had eight new cases to report for Friday, bringing its total to 358 cases and ten deaths.
