Naomi Mae Nicholson, 92 of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Hamilton Grove, New Carlisle, Indiana.
A private graveside service was held 11:30 AM , Wednesday, July 1 2020 at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Truth in Love Ministries, 1002 West Sanetta Street, Nampa, ID 83651. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com
Naomi was born September 7, 1927 in Batesville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Nettie Mae (Knight) Jordan. On February 23, 1945 she married Willard Nicholson who preceded her in death on November 21, 1972. Naomi was a manger of a retirement home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, socializing with friends in her neighborhood and church. She loved reading her bible daily and praying for the needs of others. She was an avid card player and enjoyed teaching the game to her family. Naomi was also a great cook and made sure that no one ever went hungry.
Survivors include her children: Marvin (Linda) Nicholson and Larry (Karyl) Nicholson; three grandsons; five granddaughters; four great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters.
Naomi was also preceded in death by her son Roy Nicholson; four siblings and three half siblings.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman
