Lodine Louise Companion, 96, of Bridgman passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.
A private funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel and you are invited to join the live stream of the service on Lodine’s obituary page at www.PikeFH.com beginning at 11 AM. Lodine was born August 1, 1923 in St. Joseph, the daughter of the late Roy and Pearl (Geisler) Yeske. On February 6, 1943 she married Carl Companion, Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2006. Lodine was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Rummikub, Bingo and going to the casino. Her family was her pride and joy and for many years she and Carl spent their winters in Florida.
Survivors include her children: Michael (Joan) Companion, Marge (Jim) Bembenek, Jackie (Larry) Horak, Carla (Gary) VanGilder and Carl Companion, Jr.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Lodine was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Yeske and a special friend, Wilbur Charleston.
