A 27-year-old Paw Paw woman has died after crashing her car into a tree late Thursday night in Pine Grove Township. The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened shortly before midnight in the 27-thousand block of 20th Avenue. The woman died after being taken to the hospital, and it’s not known if she was wearing a seat belt. She was believed to have been drinking prior to the wreck. Police don’t know what caused her to go off the road and hit the tree, and her name has not been released.
