Flick Pick is a podcast about movies. In today’s episode, Jacob Holmes and Andrew Green talk about the new movies opening this week in Benton Harbor. After last week’s record-breaking release of Avengers: Endgame, things are getting back to normal at the cinema. We’ve got three new releases this week coming to Benton Harbor.
First up is Long Shot, a comedy starring Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen. He’s a trouble making political writer, and she’s a diplomat running for president. Will these two crazy kids be able to make their romance work? Jacob is intrigued.
Also opening this week is The Intruder, thriller starring Dennis Quaid. He’s a psycho who stalks and torments a couple who have bought his old house. The couple is played by Michael Ealy and Meagan Good. Andrew will be there, but he doesn’t exactly have high expectations.
Finally, we have Ugly Dolls, an animated movie for the kids. It features voice work by Janelle Monáe, Robert Rodriguez, Emma Roberts, Gabriel Iglesias, Kelly Clarkson. It looks like it exists. Of that we are certain.
