Michigan House Republicans have launched a new website dedicated to car insurance reform. State Representative Brad Paquette of Niles tells us ReduceMiRatesNow.com is designed to keep people informed about auto insurance action in the House while giving drivers a way to provide input. He says virtually all members of the Legislature want to see the problem addressed this term.

“Every single one of us that knocked on any amount of doors during the campaign here in the Legislature, that was 90% conversations that people in the state of Michigan had qualms with, their auto insurance rates,” Paquette said.

Paquette is confident something can happen.

“If this legislature does not pass reform, then they should not be re-elected,” Paquette said.

Information on any new auto insurance legislation will be posted to the site along with committee meeting schedules, and there’s a tab for anyone to submit their comments. Paquette says this will ensure everyone has a seat at the table. ReduceMiRatesNow.com also has a Facebook page of the same name.
