There will be plenty to do in downtown St. Joseph next weekend as the seventh annual Downtown Chili Tour takes place on Friday and the fourth annual outdoor Winter Beer Fest is set for Saturday. St. Joseph Today’s Daniele Crevier tells WSJM News that beer fest will offer a wide variety of locally-produced brews.
“16 breweries this year again,” Crevier said. “You’ve got two tents. It’s all outside and so we encourage people to bundle up. Stay warm with us.”
The tickets are available in advance, and Crevier recommends you get one now rather than waiting as they are limited. Next Saturday brings the Downtown Chili Tour with a whole mess of local restaurants and other vendors serving up samples of hot chili. Crevier says this is a good chance to get the downtown hopping.
“We really love the weekend events where we can pair two back to back events,” Crevier said. “We’ve got Ice Fest the following weekend. We just want to keep everyone busy.”
