Police are asking for the public’s help in solving the theft of several guns in Van Buren County this week. The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department tells us someone broke into a home in the 63,000 block of 54th Avenue in Hartford Monday. The break-in happened sometime between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Stolen were a shotgun, a muzzleloader, and a 9 millimeter handgun. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department.
