Ruby Threatt, 96, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Hallmark Living Center, Benton Harbor. She was born October 26, 1922 to John and Bessie (Saddler) Wilson in Brighton, Tennessee. Ruby married Armon Threatt. Ruby was a mother of Resurrection Life Church in South Haven under the leadership of Pastor Joe Wilkins. She loved church, singing and tending to her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers – Charles Wilson, Malone Wilson, Arthur Wilson, and sisters – Marie Young and Mary Anna Dickerson.
She is survived by her sisters – Cora Jefferies and Essie Calhoun both of Covert. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A wake will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow the wake at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Ruby will be laid to rest in Fish Cemetery in Covert Township.
