Geraldine was invited to a Sanctified Church by a friend and there she seen a difference then decided to stick with it. Traveling around she found a Prayer House and there she heard the voice of the Lord telling her to follow this young Pastor, who was just starting a church on Paw Paw Ave. She then went home excited telling her sister Mabel she found them a church.

There she sung in the choir, worked as Sunshine Band Leader, Sunday School Teacher and served on the Mothers Board.
