Survey Finds MI Business Leaders Optimistic

forecastbusiness

Business Leaders for Michigan is finding optimism in the state’s business community when it comes to the next year. Despite recent stock market setbacks and other controversies, the organization tells us more than 80% of Michigan’s largest companies forecast their employment and investment in Michigan will stay the same or increase in the next 6 to 12 months. Oddly enough, however, 90% of those same leaders believe the state and U.S. economies will stay the same or worsen during that time. Doug Rothwell, Business Leaders for Michigan president and CEO, says the results show “Michigan business leaders find the state a more attractive place to invest than the nation as a whole.” You can find the BLM survey right here.
