He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1948 and was then drafted into the United States Marine Corp. He was a Sergeant and fortunately the issue with Korea ended and he did not have to go there to protect our country. On January 30, 1954 he married Juanita Adele Neidlinger and she preceded him in death on February 29, 2004. Together they raised one daughter, Lorna Teske. Kenneth loved to hunt and fish, and spent much of his free time on Lake Michigan with many of his buddies often sharing his catch in a fish fry for family and friends. While working at Whirlpool Corp. he took course work and carpentry at Lake Michigan College. He started a house building business then later went to work for other companies building area bridges and the Palisades and Cook Power Plants. Later he and three partners started a seawall business in Grand Haven.  Kenneth became an active member of The Anchor Church of God in Stevensville and enjoyed studying the Bible. He made some good friends there and enjoyed men’s coffee on Saturday mornings with Ray, Dennis and Neal.

Survivors include his daughter: Lorna Teske;  his brother: Marvin (Marion) Teske.

Ken was also preceded in death by a brother, William Teske.
