John’s guest this week is Hal Hardin, nationally known trial lawyer from Nashville, Tennessee. They talk about his fascinating journey from the son of a family whose roots in Tennessee go back more than 200 years through a farm work, learning to fly at 14, travel around the country and the world, captaining a 33 ton yacht with no experience and much more. He lives the message of St. Augustine to “sin a little early so that you understand it”, but his “sins” have been more adventures. He was United States Attorney in Nashville when he found out that the outgoing governor was planning to sign last minute pardons to serious criminals for money. He has represented clients in more than one “Trials of the Century”.
