Gerald Ford Museum To Reopen Tuesday

Tuesday marks the first time you can see the newly remodeled Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and DeVos Learning Center in Grand Rapids. Executive director of the Gerald R. Ford Foundation Joe Calvaruso says there will be a re-opening program with former vice-president Dick Cheney Tuesday at 10 a.m.

“We’re just excited to see the new opening, and we welcome everybody,” Calvaruso said. “The museum’s going to be open until  p.m. on the seventh, and it’s going to be free all day long.”

Three of President Ford’s children — Mike, Steve, and Susan — will attend the program. A gala celebration will be held Monday night at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids.
